MY LAST SUMMER

                                                                    Hi I'm Clàudia. Now I’m gonna to tell you about my summer holidays. First I'm going to talk about my holidays in June, then I’m going to talk about my holidays of July and I’m going to finish with my last month and a half, August and September.

JUNE

My first month of summer I stayed in Banyoles doing some funny summer activities like: paddle, basket. But when I was in the second week of paddle my mum told me to go to l'Estartit for two weeks, because she didn't work. And I did not want to go basket, because I didn't like it. In Estartit I went there with my mum my sister and my cousin. Me and my cousin we went to the Italian beach,we sayed that name for that beach because there are the Italian boys which are more handsome than the other beaches and places. And in the afternoon we went to Carrer Santanna for shopping.

JULY

My second month of summer first of all I was in Estartit. And me and my sister we saw a water park on the sea, near the coast and we went to the park and my sister fell many times. We stayed at Estartit all the month.

AUGUST

In the first week of August I went to Gemeliers concert in Cap Roig with Jana Díaz, that was so funny and incredible, then we go to Estartit only the weekend’s and on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I went with my friends to the Jamaica tree or to Club Natació Banyoles, and on Tuesday and Thursday we went to la Draga or La Plaça Major.

2- AN ARTICLE ABOUT ANIMALS

PENGUINS:

The animal that I choose is a penguin. Penguins can slip on the ice using the belly.

They live in cold places but "all" the penguins live in the south hemisphere and they are one part of the flightless birds because they don't have wings. The penguins can weigh about 1 kilogram and they are about 1,1 meters.

The problems of the penguins are hot places.

POLAR BEARS

The animal in this photo is a polar bear. Adult polar bears are 750 kilos. They can swim more tan 150 kilometers.

Polar bears live in the Arctic, Canada, Russia, Greenland and Norway. They live and hunt on the ice. Females have two cubs every four or five years. Polar bears usually eat seals.

The Arctic ice is smaller because the climate is changing. Pollution is a problema, especially oil. Humans hunt polar ers in some areas.

ABOUT MY HOLIDAYS

Hi Emma,

I'm having a great time in France, in one city, beetween the beach with my parents.

We're staying in one big hotel in the center, it was very funny in the swimmingpool becouse there is a big slide.

Right now, i'm in  Banyoles, but there we take potos and now we're doing an álbum. I play basketball and padel, my sister is swimming, my mum is playing padel and my dad is playing padel too and one day we're play padel and me and my mum we will win!

ABOUT A CITY

Hollywood is a city in USA. It's got a big population, and there is a lot of tourism from Europe, Soud America,...

I like Hollywood because it's a hot place with a big beach. For tourists there are a lot of famous places, and there are some big buildings. My favorite places are the beach and the street of stars.

Hollywood is 241 miles by car to California. I love California to.

ABOUT A TOWN

Banyoles is a big town and a small city. In summer are a lot of tourism. I like Banyoles because have a prettier lake. My favourites places are "La Draga" and "Camp Nou".


In Banyoles we have a llot of buses and taxis but here there aren't any trains if you want to go in train you can go in "El tren pinxo"

ABOUT A FRIEND

She's name is Nina. She has two brothers, she like cycling, books and love animals. In her town there are buildings and a very nice beaches. Nina speaks 1 lenguage, is Portuguese, she studies English and Spanish. She is my best friend!

ABOUT MY SCHOOL

Hi!

I'm very happy thet you're coming to stay with us next month. Here's some information about my timetable and my school.

On Monday, Tueesday and Thursday the shool starts at 9am and on Wednesdaym and Friday the school starts at 8:30am. The lessons ate 1 hour long. English, Math, Science, History, Catalan and Spanish, are the compulsory subjects, but we can also choose other subjects like French or Ket. There aren't any clubs after school! But I play basketball and also I go to macanography class after the school.

I usually go home for lunch, but I like to have lunch in the school because I meet my friends!

ABOUT MY LAST WEEKEND

Last weekend I played a basketball match of basketball against the A and I am B, but we lost. Then in the afternoon I did the homework. On Sunday I went to Empuriabrava to the wind tunnel in WINDOOR, the experience was incredible and I saw other people. I went there with my family, and I will go there again!!!
