CLÀUDIA’S LAST SUMMER

Hello, today I’l be talking about my summer holidays. First I’m talking about the sport campus I went, second, I’m talking about my days with my family in Estartit. Finally I’m talking about the favorite trip I’ve ever been, Disneyland Paris.

At the beginning of the summer, I went for one week to the “Sports for you” campus in El Collell. There I met some people from Girona and Barcelona who, are my best friends now. We payed a lot of basketball and we learned a lot. We had the best coach in the campus that is also one of the best coaches of Girona, I thought he would be too demanding but he seemed to be funny and calmed.

Dear Editor,
I am writing in respponse to an article I saw last week in one post in your blog. I was desappointed to read you opinions because I think you don't think about other people. I would like to talk about your thoughts about wether traveling by train is a thing of the past.

Firstly, there is an obvious advantage of travelling by train. It is one of the fastest methods of circulation in the world.

When you travel by train, you can save lot of money if you use it very often. You'll only need the ticket that you can pay every month and it's cheaper than gasoline.

Next, people that can't afford buying a car, they have to take the traing because it is their only wayto take them to heir jobs.

Finally, I am due to start a new university career in Barcelona and as soon I arrive I will have to take the train every day, just like many other people.

A school exchange

Hi!

We are Carla and Clàudia and we have been working on a project to prepare and interesting two-days itinerary for a school Exchange. We have decided to visit different places of the city while we show you what we do in our daily life. Hope you like it!

Banyoles is a city in el Pla de l’Estany, near Girona. The lake, which is in the western part of the city, is an important tourist attraction we have. Just like its free time and sportive activities. We have lived here since we were born so we know many things about the city. Come and let us show you some of them. Let’s start!

It’s half past eight and it’s Friday. Lessons start by know. On today’s timetable we have Science, Technology, Spanish, English, French and Maths. How our school works? On Fridays and Wednesdays we have classes from 8:30 to 3:00 with two breaks in the middle.

After a long day, we go home. Today we’re going to have lunch at Carla’s grandparents’ house.

We have just finished lunch and now we are going to the Porqueres’ church which is beautiful and it’s quite near from here.

We take our bikes and we go from Porqueres to the center of Banyoles. During the ride we stop in a Palanca which is a good place to discover the lake’s charm. We sometimes go there when we are busy to relax and disconnect.

When we get to the Plaça Major square we have a pancake in a popular place called l’Exquisit. They look delicious and, trust me, they are.

After having dinner we walk in the streets of Banyoles discovering place like the ancient wall.

It’s nine o’clock and we have to get ready. Before having breakfast, we go for a walk around the lake. When we get home, we prepare our breakfast which is a cup of milk with cereals and a toast with Nutella.

Today we have booked a rowing boat. Although it isn’t allowed to row in all the lake, it’s a great way to have different point of view of the city. And also, a great opportunity to make beautiful photos. After that, we’re going to have lunch at Clàudia’s house.

After the boats, walk to the city centre to get an ice cream. You can get your favourite flavour, choose the cream you like the most and add all the condiments you want on it.

At the end of the day we have the most interesting activity. We’re going to the Montilivi stadium to watch Girona’s match against the Valencian team.

This is our plan. Can’t wait to meet you soon!

My trip to Italy

Hello!

Today I’ll be talking about my trip to Italy, one of my favorite’s trips I have ever been on. It started Monday the 5th of Mars of 2018. At 3 a.m. we had to be at school with the bags because we were taking the bus to go to l’Aeroport Del Prat. When we arrived at Barcelona, we had to weight our bags, if it weighted more than 15 kg we had to pay 20€ for every extra kg, but luckily anyone had to do it. At 6:55 a.m. we took a plane to Italy, I was very nervous because it was my first time flying since I was 4 years old.

The 1^st day.

We landed in Bergamo at 8 a.m., everyone was tired. We took an italian bus to go to Sirmione. Sirmione is a beautiful city “close” to the Lago di Garda. When we arrived there, we went to eat the best italian pizza at a restaurant, then we went on a walk to see the big and beautiful lake. After the walk we took the bus to Brècia, then we went to Verona and there it was where we were staying for 2 nights.

The 2^nd day.

We woke up at 7a.m. to have a quick breakfast and then take the train to go to Venice. When we arrived we went on a walk to see the bridges and the canals, it was beautiful but the weather wasn’t nice and we had to go all the time with an umbrella, but it was fun anyway. When we arrived at Piazza San Marco, it was floated and we had to go on platforms to save our feet from getting wet. We visited the Basilica di San Marco and then I went on the Campanille di San Marco where I could see Venice from the top, it was beautiful and luckily at that time it was sunny. Then, we visited a glass museum. After that, we took the Vaporetto to go to the train station. We took the train and at the trip back we met some italians who now are our friends. When we arrived at Verona we went on a walk and have dinner, then we went to sleep.

The 3^rd day.

We woke up at 7 a.m. because we had to take the train to go to Florence. When we arrived, we had to walk a lot of time with our bags because the hotel was in the center of the city. We went to the hotel and then to visit Florence. First, we went to the Battistero di San Giovanni, then we went to the Campanille and many other places until it was dark. But before we went to sleep we went to see the big bridge of Florence.

The 4^th day.

We had breakfast at 8 a.m. and walking we went to the Galeria de l’Academia to see the big special statue of The David of Michelangelo Buonarroti. At the afternoon we went to the Galeria degli Uffizi. Then, we went to the cupola of the Duomo, it had 482 steps… When we arrived at the top we were very tired, but it was worth it. After that, we visited more Florence and we went to sleep.

The 5^th day.

We had breakfast at 8 a.m. and we took the bus to Lucca, a small village next to Pisa. We had some free time there and then we took the bus again to go to our final destination. We arrived at Pisa and we took the little train to go to the Pisa Tower. This day was the sunniest day and made Pisa look 100 ways better because of the colors of the monuments and the beautiful green grass.

Italy was my favorite trip that I’ve ever done. My favorite city was Pisa because it looked like it was a dream thanks to the sun. I wish I could repeat it again with my classmates someday, we had so much fun that I can’t wait to go there again!

I LOVE ENGLISH SUMMARY: Stranger Things.

Is a serie set in a small town of Hawkins, America in the 1980s, St4ranger Things is very popular in Netflix. And now, we're going know more about the charecters.

MIKE WHEELER
He is the leader. In season 1 he leads his friends to go find Will. He also falls in love with the star cast, Eleven. Finn Wolfhard is who plays this charecter, because he saw an ad and auditioned for the role and got it! His work has got bigger and he started doing other roles in movies.

WILL BYERS

Will is who disappears in Season 1 to the Upside Down. He is rescued in Season 2, but the poor boy is traumatised for it. Noah Schnapp is who plays this character. He also did other important movies.

ELEVEN

She is the hero of the series. She escapes from the laboratory where she was trapped and saves her new friends from the demogorgons. In Season 2, she finds her mother and sister and saves her friends again. Millie Bobby Brown is who plays Eleven. She has won many awards and fashion designers have noticed Millie and has a second career as a model. She does other moves too.

DUSTIN HENDERSON

He is the funniest one. He has a medical condition called "cleidocranial dysplasia" wich makes him have no front teeth in season 1. In season 2 has teeth and falls in love with Max. Gaten Matarazzo is who plays Dustin and he also has thins medial condition in real life and wants to raise money for other people who suffer for it.

LUCAS SINCLAIR

He is one of the 4 friends. When they find Eleven he doesen't like her, but then they become friends. In season 2 he likes Max too, just like Dustin. Caleb McLaughlin is who plays Lucas. He is a great dacer and wnt to dance school in New York and got the role of the young Simba in The Lion Kimg musical with only 11 years.

MAXINE MAYFIELD / MAX

Max is the new girl in season 2. Eleven thinks Max is flirting with Mike and gets jealous, but it isn't. Sadie Sink is who plays Max. She has starred in musical productions like Caleb.

I am writing to complain about your new product yu send me, wich I purchased online last weekend as a birthday for my mum.

As advertisements for the product you send me, wich I purchased online last weekend as a birthday present for my mum.

As advertisements for the product had been broadcast between programmes of cooking and kitchens, I thought the product would appeal to the mums. The advertisements also made the product look qualified for begginers, wich is why I decided to buy it. However, my parents and I think the material of the product is actually loose and the product is even more difficult to work with. When we tryed tocook the easyest meal in the menú, we couldn't do it.

Furthermore, we were shocked to see that the product is in Chineese, and is too difficult to cook with it, even though the advertisemtn said it was easyer than cooking normal.

Until now, I had alwas been relly impressed with your company and associated all your products with quality material. It is very sad that you are promotinng
